CNSI has secured a potential five-year, $44 million contract to help the Department of Veterans Affairs modernize a system used to process healthcare claims data.
The company said Wednesday it will support the modernization and implementation of a claims processing platform for VA’s Financial Services Center to adjudicate, manage and prepare claims from healthcare providers.
Rockville, Maryland-based CNSI will also migrate current and potential department customers from a legacy claims adjudication system to a centralized processing system.
Vijay Mishra, senior vice president of federal programs at CNSI, said the company plans to use a centralized and configurable technology to help transform VA-FSC’s claims processing infrastructure.
CNSI President Adnan Ahmed added the company will leverage technology, professionals, processes and domain expertise to support the department’s care delivery efforts.
The company also received claims processing system support contracts from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services worth $35 million and from the Labor Department‘s Office of Workers Compensation worth $166 million.
