Harris has won a position under the General Services Administration‘s potential 15-year, $50 billion Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions contract vehicle to offer network services to federal agencies.
GSA selected Harris and nine other companies to compete for task orders to deliver information technology, telecommunications and infrastructure services through the EIS contract.
Harris said Tuesday it plans to offer network services the company currently provides via the Federal Aviation Administration‘s telecommunications infrastructure and the state of Florida’s MyFloridaNet-2 telecommunications services program.
The company also seeks to provide its Harris Trusted Enterprise Network that features a flexible architecture designed to help customers perform large-scale network migrations and integrate IT service offerings as needed.
