Informatica Joins New AWS Public Sector Partner Program; Ronen Schwartz Comments

Informatica has joined Amazon Web Services‘ new partner program to provide data management services to public sector customers through connected data in AWS’ cloud environment.

Amazon Web Services launched the Public Sector Partner Program at the company’s AWS re:Invent 2016 event and Informatica will collaborate with the cloud provider to deliver hybrid data management platform configured for AWS, Informatica said Thursday.

Ronen Schwartz, senior vice president and general manager of cloud, big data and data integration at Informatica, said the company o help government organizations transition to the AWS cloud and hybrid data architectures.

As a member of the program, Informatica will help AWS customers migrate enterprise data and existing on-premise Informatica PowerCenter applications to AWS.

Informatica will also provide data integration through PowerCenter and big data analysis to AWS customers.
