Microsoft and Riverbed Technology have partnered to offer government customers access to application performance management tools designed to support information technology modernization and digital transformation efforts.
Riverbed said Tuesday its SteelHead CX can now be purchased via Microsoft’s Azure Government Cloud marketplace while Riverbed’s SteelCentral AppInternals platform will be available to agencies in the first quarter of 2017.
“Federal agencies are seeking technology solutions that help them transform the way they deliver services to citizens,†said Davis Johnson, vice president of U.S. public sector sales at Riverbed Technology.
Johnson added that Riverbed aims to help customers tap into the potential of cloud technology through the company’s expanded partnership with Microsoft.
Riverbed’s SteelCentral AppInternals is designed to monitor applications in production and trace transactions across all users to help boost end-to-end application visibility and analytics.
Microsoft will introduce the Azure Government Cloud marketplace along with its new products and service offerings to federal stakeholders and clients at the company’s annual Government Cloud Forum Tuesday in Washington.
