A new Technavio report has cited General Dynamics, Harris, L-3 Communications, Rockwell Collins and Thales as the tier-one vendors in the global man-portable communication systems market through 2020.
Technavio said Monday that in-house manufacturing, fresh technologies, global footprint network, product offerings, research and development investments and robust customer base are the key factors necessary to compete in the market.
“The global man-portable communication systems market is highly competitive, and vendors compete based on cost, product quality, reliability and aftermarket service,†said Moutushi Saha, a lead analyst for research on the defense sector at Technavio.
