Draken International has deployed six A-4 Skyhawks with 28 pilots and maintainers from Nellis Air Force Base in support of the U.S. Air Force‘s Air Education and Training Command’s exercises.
The company said Wednesday it flew 36 sorties for the Air Force’s F-16 requalification training at the Luke Air Force Base and AETC’s F-35 coalition instructor pilot training to deliver Red Air support to the branch’s 4th & 5th generation fighter jets, as well as to Norway’s F-35 instructor pilots.
Jared Isaacman, Draken CEO, said the company simultaneously conducted multiple sorties from six different operational locations for the exercises.
Draken utilizes third-generation platform and fourth-generation services to support Red Air across all armed services, said Nick Guttman, Draken’s project officer.
