SPA to Help US Navy Assess Nuclear Weapons Policy, Strategy; Kirk Donald Comments

Systems Planning and Analysis Inc. has been selected to assist the U.S. Navy in its work to evaluate nuclear weapons policy and strategy.

The company will perform analysis on arms regulation and nuclear policy, deterrence and escalation control issues in coordination with the Navy director of strategy and policy, SPA said in August.

The task order contains a one-year base period of performance and four one-year options.

Kirk Donald, president and CEO of SPA, said the company will help the Navy shape “policy and strategy recommendations effective for a dynamic geopolitical environment.”
