T-Mobile and Palo Alto Networks have introduced a new managed offering called T-Mobile SASE, with Palo Alto Networks, which works to provide businesses and government agencies the capability to securely connect users and devices to private, software-as-a-service and internet applications.
The service combines T-Mobile’s 5G Advanced network and T-SIMsecure with T-Mobile Security Slice and Prisma SASE 5G, Palo Alto Networks said Thursday.
Prisma SASE 5G – A Cloud-Native Zero Trust Security Solution
Integrating Palo Alto Networks’ Prisma SASE 5G solution, which was built to secure hybrid workforce with zero trust network access, T-Mobile enhanced its 5G network assets, designed to deliver encryption to protect interfaces, subscriber identities, and network control and user data planes; provide strong security with SIM-based authentication to simplify administrative complexity for IT and security teams and enhance authorization for connected devices; and accelerate network speed for T-Mobile Secure Access Service Edge customers using 5G Standalone-enabled devices.
“Adding Palo Alto Networks’ proven SASE capabilities into our 5G Standalone network, we’re delivering built-in security from the ground up, empowering our business and government customers with a seamless solution that protects their data across every endpoint, enabling them to operate confidently in an increasingly connected world,” said Anand Oswal, senior vice president and general manager of network security at Palo Alto Networks.
