SandboxAQ will implement its cryptographic management platform under a prototype other transaction authority agreement with the Defense Information Systems Agency.
The company said Tuesday it will work with Microsoft and Deloitte & Touche as it delivers its SandboxAQ Security Suite to DISA through the prototype OTA.
The SandboxAQ Security Suite works to provide agile cryptography designed to safeguard sensitive data from cyberattacks.
The platform could provide organizations with full visibility and control of their cryptography and enable them to perform automatic analysis of cryptographic posture, cryptographic policy management and enforcement and upgrade to new cryptographic protocols that could resist decryption by quantum computers.
Microsoft will provide its DevSecOps platform and Deloitte will offer systems integration services and related capabilities in support of SandboxAQ’s OTA with DISA.
“As part of the prototype OTA agreement, SandboxAQ’s unique focus on cryptographic agility could enable U.S. government customers to automatically and seamlessly protect their IT infrastructures from both current cyber threats as well as future threats such as those posed by quantum computers,” said Jen Sovada, president of public sector at SandboxAQ.
“This first-of-its-kind program offers a pathway to protect DISA networks and data through follow-on deployments to wider architectures,” added Sovada.
SandboxAQ is an enterprise software-as-a-service company that spun off from Alphabet in 2022. The startup uses artificial intelligence and quantum technology to deliver platforms designed to protect systems from quantum attacks.
