Carahsoft Technology has agreed to distribute Nyriad’s data storage system to public sector customers through its reseller partners and government contract vehicles.
UltraIO is a GPU-accelerated storage technology that works to enable high-performance computing, active archiving, backup and recovery and video and image processing, Carahsoft and Nyriad said in a joint statement published Tuesday.
The storage system has the capacity to ingest video streams from 90,000 cameras simultaneously and facilitate 8K resolution video editing without requiring creatives to copy files, transcode or create proxies.
Carahsoft will serve as the master government aggregator for UltraIO as part of the agreement.
“Partnering with Nyriad supports our mission to simplify the technology procurement process and position our channel partners for success with the most innovative and disruptive technologies,” said Michael Adams, director of artificial intelligence and machine learning portfolio at Carahsoft.
UltraIO is available to government agencies through the NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V, Information Technology Enterprise Solutions – Software 2, OMNIA Partners and National Cooperative Purchasing Alliance contracts.
