Juvare has launched a new business unit to advance the delivery of national security and crisis response software offerings to U.S. government customers.
President Patrick Lane and Chief Operating Officer Patrick Macfarlane will oversee Juvare Federal & Defense, which will accelerate program delivery through its independent operating framework, the company said Wednesday.
JFD offers a suite of software platforms designed to provide real-time situational awareness data to help first responders and other emergency management professionals accelerate the decision-making process and manage incidents faster. The unit has existing contracts with the departments of Defense and Homeland Security and the Federal Emergency Management Agency, among other agencies.
Robert “Bob” Watson, president and CEO of Juvare, said the new business unit reflects the company’s expansion within the federal government and commitment to ensuring the security of the U.S. and its allied partners.
This spring, JFD will introduce a new platform that could integrate with government and commercial systems and will use artificial intelligence and machine learning to provide users with access to resource data and real-time geospatial capabilities to speed up crisis response efforts.
