The American Security Today publication has recognized Sophos with four platinum awards for information technology offerings designed to help government customers identify and respond to cyberthreats.
Rob Lalumondier, vice president of Sophos’ federal business, wrote in a blog post published Thursday the company won recognitions at this year’s ASTORS Homeland Security Awards as a vendor of anti-malware, managed threat response and endpoint and network protection platforms.
AST featured the MDR platform as the Best Cyber Managed Threat Response service, which now includes telemetry from other security technology products, and the Firewall operating system as the Best Network Security Solution.
The publication called Sophos’ Intercept X Advanced with XDR the Best Anti-Malware Solution and the Best Endpoint Threat Solution.
“The cybersecurity of our nation is at a critical inflection point amidst an escalation of ever-changing, complex cyberattacks, as evidenced in the Sophos 2023 Threat Report,” Lalumondier noted.
He added that the recognitions reflect the company’s work to help modernize cyber defense at federal agencies.
