HII and Markesman Group have established a joint venture through the Small Business Administration’s mentor-protege program to advance the delivery of cybersecurity platforms to defense market customers.
The two companies said Monday they will work together under the business name Tuple and support the Department of Defense’s cybersecurity mission by combining HII’s experience in the information warfare domain with Markesman’s expertise in cyber operations.
Tuple will offer combined capabilities in the areas of defensive and offensive cyber operations; cloud and software development; enterprise information technology operations, architecture and engineering support; and vulnerability analysis and risk assessment.
HII will serve as a mentor under the SBA program.
Grant Hagen, president of the cyber, electronic warfare and space business group at HII’s Mission Technologies division, said the two companies will combine their domain expertise and skills through the joint venture in support of warfighters.
“HII and Markesman will accelerate the development and deployment of cyber capabilities for operations and systems critical to national security,” Hagen added.
