Robert Forth, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and experienced government contracting executive, has been promoted to the role of senior vice president of delivery at Aeyon, where he previously served as VP.
In his new role, Forth will be in charge of sustaining customer service standards, creating new client services strategies and heading up training for Aeyon’s team of project manager appointees, among other responsibilities, the Vienna, Virginia-based business management consultant said Tuesday.
Gary Turner, chief delivery officer at Aeyon, characterized Forth’s promotion as “well deserved,” adding that he eagerly anticipates collaborating with Forth as the company benefits from the executive’s steadfast motivation and leadership in customer-facing activities.
As SVP, Forth will additionally lead the search for new talent and efforts to strengthen the company’s business relationships. The work will build on his previous role at Aeyon as client delivery VP for the last six years.
According to Aeyon, Forth received his new job due to his consistent project results and proven ability to meet applicable contract clauses and customer demands.
Prior to coming to the company, Forth held various positions at Shehlke Consulting, such as director of audit readiness and sustainment, director of quality assurance and vice president of client operations. He performed financial management consulting services at the Arlington, Virginia-based business consulting firm before transitioning to a focus on customer service.
Forth’s financial work began during his seven years with the Marine Corps, where, in addition to serving as an operations officer, he was also a senior accounting officer handling organizational budget implementation and facilitating the Department of Defense’s planning, programming, budgeting and execution cycles. In this capacity, he was the main accounting adviser to the Comptroller.
The promotion of Forth follows a handful of new hires for Aeyon this year. In March, Tammie Hayes joined the company as chief integration officer and the same month, Tom Harker and Forrest Faison were added to its board of advisors.
