Preferred Systems Solutions has unveiled a new logo and brand identity and changed its name to Solerity to reflect the company’s commitment to helping customers address national security challenges using technologies, engineering principles and optimized business processes, ExecutiveBiz has learned.
“Solerity signifies everything that our team stands for and provides a platform to expand our solutions set as one team,” Babs Doherty, president and CEO of Solerity, said in a statement.

Doherty added that the rebranding effort marks the company’s transformation into a focused and unified organization with the platforms and talent needed to tackle national security issues.
Solerity said the “S” in the logo highlights the company's commitment to speed to mission and the blue, white and red colors emphasize its focus on national security and government platforms. The corporate name is a combination of “sol” from the word solution and “celerity” from the Latin word “celer,” which means speedy or swift.
Solerity is a portfolio company of CM Equity Partners, a New York-based private equity firm, and is focused on providing acquisition and program management, engineering and technical services, cloud, data analytics, high-performance computing, mobile applications and financial consulting support to intelligence community, defense and civilian agency clients.
