LMI has received a five-year $16 million contract from the Office of the Secretary of Defense for services in support of the Department of Defense's technology acquisition and international cooperation efforts.
The company will help DOD purchase electronic warfare technologies and weapons and enhance its acquisition of F-35 Lightning II fighter aircraft and other air platforms, LMI said Monday
Under the contract, DOD will also be provided with assistance in boosting partnership with allies for acquisition activities and warfighter support.
Robert Lech, vice president of defense market at LMI, said one of the keys to executing the National Defense Strategy is international cooperation.
"LMI is thrilled to continue shaping policy and engagement in this critical area,” he added.
The company has been providing support services to the department. In May 2020, LMI was awarded a potential five-year, $70M task order for program management services in support of the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment.
