Raytheon Technologies has secured a $10.4M contract to carry out work in support of a Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency-led software development project.Â
The company will help DARPA create a platform that will utilize automation, predictive analytics and theater-scale battle management command and control capabilities to enhance the military's efficiency under the Joint All-Domain Warfighting Software effort, the Department of Defense said Friday.
The planned software is will be used to enable the military to build and execute synchronized kill webs within land, air, space, sea, undersea and electromagnetic domains.
Contract work will occur in Colorado, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Texas and is slated to wrap up by April 2022.
DARPA received 12 bids for the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract and obligated a total of $3.9M from fiscal years 2020 and 2021 research, development, test and evaluation funds.
