A Spyris Solutions subsidiary has secured a contract from Leonardo DRS to produce shipboard electronic assemblies in support of a U.S. Navy program.
Spyris Electronics is scheduled to begin manufacturing the components later this year, the company said Tuesday.
Leonardo DRS secured a potential five-year, $462.2M contract in April to provide a suite of consoles, devices and peripherals for the CDP Technology Insertion 16, Modification 1 of the Navy's future surface ship combat systems.
Tampa, Fla.-based Spyris Electronics markets its products to the defense, space, medical, undersea and industrial markets.
