The U.S. Navy will hold a series of virtual industry days to brief members of the Information Warfare Research Project Consortium on 10 topics to be covered by upcoming requests for prototype projects.
The quarterly industry events will take place from June 8 to 11 and is sponsored by Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific and NIWC Atlantic, according to a notice posted Friday on the beta SAM website.
RPP topics encompass various areas of interest such as process improvement technologies, software-defined radio modernization, signature management platforms, legal data management and cloud-based information assistance.
Other subject areas include human resources training, 5G networks, shipping container concepts and buoy control systems for the Navy’s legacy submarine launchers.
IWRP consortium members may participate in activities such as one-on-one teleconferences and presentations of technical briefs during the week-long event, according to the notice.
