Orbital Insight has raised $50M in a series D financing round jointly led by Clearvision Ventures and Sequoia Capital.
The company said Tuesday it will use the proceeds to innovate and expand a software offering designed to help customers analyze geospatial data.
Other investors that supported the funding round were Goldman Sachs, Invicta Growth, Bunge Ventures, Chevron Technology Ventures, Tech Pioneers Fund.
According to Orbital Insight, it has secured more than $125M it total funds as the software developer aims to grow its share of the enterprise software market.
The GO software is designed for potential use in infrastructure mapping, real estate, defense, intelligence and supply chain monitoring efforts.
Orbital Insight debuted its platform in the U.S., Asian and European markets in May and partnered with Airbus to create a service offering intended to help defense and intelligence agencies detect changes in infrastructure or land use in real time.
