The U.S. Army has awarded other transaction agreements to AT&T, Microsoft and Verizon in support of the service branch’s Enterprise Information Technology as a Service program.
A solicitation notice posted on FedBizOpps says the awardees will support an EITaaS pilot designed to help the Army assess commercial platforms and their capability to build up user experience and enterprise IT service delivery as well as integrate with government-only processes and systems.
Microsoft secured an $18.2M OTA, while Verizon’s business network services unit received a $9.7M award. AT&T was awarded a potential $5.6M OTA.
EITaaS has three lines of effort: network as a service; end user services; and compute and store. The program seeks to facilitate the commercial management and delivery of protected IT services to Department of Defense Information Network-Army users, including software, hardware, common IT services, computing, storage and network infrastructure.
