SAIC to Maintain, Support City of Anaheim IT Systems Under $85M Contract

Science Applications International Corp. has received a potential eight-year, $85M contract to perform information technology maintenance and support efforts for the workplace tools, infrastructure and applications of the city of Anaheim in California.

Bob Genter, executive vice president and general manager at SAIC’s civilian markets customer group, said in a statement published Monday that the firm will use a new service delivery model to enable flexible and transparent offerings.

The contract has a base value of four years along with two two-year options. While most of the work will take place in Anaheim, SAIC will also carry out tasks in other areas within the continental U.S. as part of the contract.

“This contract will help us do everything we do more efficiently and cost effectively for those we serve,” said Mike Lyster, chief communications officer for the city of Anaheim.

“We are excited to partner with the city of Anaheim to deliver world-class IT managed services that will enhance capabilities and performance across city departments and improve customer services,” said Genter.
