Carahsoft Technology has received a blanket purchase agreement of undisclosed value to deliver training, maintenance services and Veritas Technologies-built hardware and software systems to the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.
According to a Carahsoft press release published Thursday, that it will offer various Veritas offerings under the BPA such as the Enterprise Data Services Platform, a suite of tools developed to simplify enterprise information technology functions.
The Navy plans to use the BPA to unify and streamline IT management and acquisition processes through the Enterprise Software Licensing program.
“With its global commitments, the DON and its branches will benefit immensely from data management and disaster recovery solutions, ensuring that critical information is on hand and recoverable across changing physical and virtual environments,†said Bryan Jenkins, director of Veritas Team at Carahsoft.
