Pivot3 and Red River have launched joint offerings in a move to help federal clients manage data centers and multiple petabytes of mission data.

The partnership seeks to address information technology security, manageability and resilience challenges in the government sector with hyperconverged infrastructure and hybrid cloud platforms. Pivot3 said Tuesday.

Both companies have worked to pursue federal contracts and expanded pursuit efforts at the state and local levels to support digital transformation efforts across the public sector.

The alliance has helped a defense agency build an IT infrastructure designed to process mixed-application workloads.

Red River used Pivot3’s Intelligence Engine to automate application performance and data protection processes for the agency to simplify multiple tasks.
