BAE Systems has received a three-year, $67M contract modification from the U.S. Marine Corps to draft engineering drawings for amphibious combat vehicles, mission role variants and a medium caliber cannon.

The company will also produce and test the cannon, ACVs and MRVs as part of the modification, the Department of Defense said Thursday.

Eighty-five percent of work will take place in York, Penn., while the remaining 15 percent will occur in Aiken, S.C. The Pentagon expects BAE to conclude work by Sept. 30, 2022.

Marine Corps Systems Command will obligate $22M from fiscal years 2018 and 2019 funds at the time of the award.

The modification follows a previously awarded $103.7M fixed-price-incentive contract intended for the performance of engineering, manufacturing and development efforts for ACV systems.
