Serco Inc. announced on Thursday that the company has been awarded three new task orders with a cumulative value of $16.4M, in the last 30 days under the U.S. Navy’s SPAWAR Global Installation contract vehicle.

Serco will install the C4ISR systems aboard a guided-missile cruiser, an amphibious transport dock ship and a Los Angeles-class submarine. The work scope includes removal of current systems, structural modifications, installation of 21 different C4ISR systems, and testing support. Work will be completed in San Diego and Hawaii.

"We are excited to grow our ship modernization services under these 3 new task orders," said Dave Dacquino, Serco's chairman and CEO.  "Our team put together a solution that tapped into our extensive past performance thereby helping our Navy provide the latest technology to our fleet,” Dacquino added.

Serco has provided ship modernization services for the Navy since 2001.
