The U.S. Navy's Naval Air Systems Command seeks market information regarding a low-band jamming technology for integration with the EA-18G electronic warfare aircraft.
NAVAIR said Wednesday in a FedBizOpps notice it plans to replace the ALQ-99 Tactical Jamming System used to conduct airborne electronic attack missions.
The service branch only calls for responses that wholly address the sought jammer platform, and may not consider partial systems.
Employees from nine commercial organizations may review data submitted in response to the NGJ-LB request for information notice and perform technical assessments under government contracts with non-disclosure provisions.

The Navy estimates NGJ-LB research, development, test and evaluation funding allocation will be $14M in fiscal year 2020 and approximately $95M in FY2021.
June 17 is the deadline for responses concerning technical information and schedule of the project.
