The Virginia Contracting Activity is seeking information on potential industry sources that can help the Defense Intelligence Agency's Missile and Space Intelligence Center manage a computing network system, develop tools and perform computational analysis.
In a FedBizOpps notice posted Friday, the Virginia Contracting Activity said it aims to issue a formal solicitation for the Scientific Computing Operations, Analysis and Applications contract by Oct. 1 on behalf of MSIC.
The single-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract will cover technical and management efforts such as software development, database design, data analysis and program management support.
The contracting activity noted it will evaluate proposals against a set of criteria that includes small business participation plans, cost and pricing, potential supply chain risks and security measures.
Interested vendors have until May 31 to submit their responses to the RFI notice.
