Avaya will optimize the communications infrastructure of Fayetteville City in North Carolina through the use of a business communications platform that works to boost collaborative processes.
The Avaya IX Workplace platform is developed to provide users and organizations with telephone and video conferencing, messaging, mobility and team engagement functions, the company said Monday.
The company noted that the system helped city officials maintain communications with various stakeholders and groups during a recent hurricane scenario.
“Avaya is instrumental in creating a seamless and efficient communications platform, enabling members of our community to quickly get the information and services they need when they need them," said Eddie Taylor, telecommunications analyst for Fayetteville City.
Avaya IX Workplace is a part of the Avaya Intelligence Xperiences portfolio of communications and contact center offerings.
