Serco's North American subsidiary will continue to help the U.S. Navy sustain control and command, control, communications, computers and intelligence systems installed at various military installations worldwide under a one-year, $41.3M contract modification.
The modification represents the third option period of a previously awarded fixed-price contract and brings the contract's total cumulative value to $160.7M, the Department of Defense said Monday.
Reston, Va.-based Serco Inc. will perform life cycle sustainment work on physical security and access C5I platforms that support Naval Facilities Engineering Command's Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection Ashore Program.
Services include system installation and upgrade, asset management, preventive maintenance, programmatic trend analysis and information assurance vulnerability warning services.
Work is scheduled to occur through March 2020.
NAVFAC obligated the full amount of the exercised option from the service branch's fiscal 2019 operations and maintenance contract funds.
