FLIR Systems pis set to open a location in Arlington, Va., that will serve as the company’s new headquarters and support the delivery of its offerings to government customers and East Coast industry partners.
The 30K-square foot facility will also be the government and defense business unit’s main office as well as the company’s conference and gathering area, FLIR said Wednesday.
The complex, located within the Pentagon Row area at 1201 South Joyce Street, will house the senior executive team’s operations and contain a showroom to present FLIR’s sensing products.
Jim Cannon, president and CEO of FLIR, said the company’s expansion in Washington, D.C., will help drive growth and provide better proximity to its key investors, regulators and customers.
The company is currently headquartered at Crystal City, Va., and is slated to renovate its location in Wilsonville, Ore., during the second quarter of the year.
