Nimbis Services has received two task orders worth potentially $49.5M combined to research and develop a cloud-based ecosystem for the U.S. Air Force to verify microeletronics throughout the product life cycle.
The company will work to help the military service achieve initial operational capability status for a supply chain risk management platform as part of the Trusted Silicon Stratus program, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
The cost-plus-fixed-fee task orders fall under an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
The TSS-SCRM platform will build upon a previous technology funded by the Air Force Research Laboratory and demonstrated through the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency's Application Domain Portal Hosting Service initiative, according to Nimbis.
The company aims to finish work on the first task order by July 30, 2021, and fulfill the second order by Nov. 30 of the same year.
Oro Valley, Ariz.-based Nimbis offers modeling, simulation, design and analytics services in cloud environments.
