Matt Barrett, formerly program manager for the National Institute of Standards and Technology's Cybersecurity Framework, has joined Cyber Engineering Services Inc. as chief operating officer.
Joseph Drissel, founder and CEO of CyberESI, said in a statement released Thursday Barrett’ brings cyber risk management to support the company's efforts to help Department of Defense and federal law enforcement clients respond to security incidents.
Barrett's executive experience has included leading businesses at large corporations and establishing startup and small companies. He aims to expand cyber incident detection and response offerings at CyberESI in his new capacity.
CyberESI is headquartered in Baltimore, Md., and offers a range of professional services intended to help organizations evaluate and manage risks.
