Citizant has won a potential three-year, 12M task order to help the Internal Revenue Service rekey access credentials and renew badges for agency employees.
The company said Wednesday it will continue to provide the services to help IRS comply with requirements under the Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12, which calls for a common identification standard to secure U.S. government facilities and systems.
According to Citizant, its team of specialists has supported the agency's HSPD-12 compliance efforts since 2012 and helped process 30K biometric identity cards during fiscal 2018.
IRS awarded the task order after a full-and-open competition via the General Services Administration’s IT Schedule 70.
