The U.S. Air Force received two more KC-46A Pegasus refueling aircraft from Boeing on Thursday following the delivery of two initial tankers on Jan. 25, Defense Daily reported Friday.

The first two KC-46A aircraft took off from Boeing’s facility in Washington and was received by personnel at McConnell Air Force Base in Kansas. The next two will be delivered "imminently," according to Boeing Chairman, President and CEO Dennis Muilenberg.

The company aims to deliver at least three KC-46A tankers per month in order to reach at least 18 aircraft by the end of the year.

Boeing officials have previously stated that they expect to provide at least four additional KC-46A tankers to Altus AFB in Oklahoma throughout February.
