Oracle has unveiled a cloud-based application designed to help local and state government agencies facilitate land management and the processing of building permits and inspections.
Oracle Public Sector Community Development is a subscription software-as-a-service app that works to upgrade the regulatory and compliance processes for building infrastructure and land use, the company said Thursday.
“Today’s digitally-savvy citizens and business owners expect to interact with their local government in the same way they do so with commercial companies offering multichannel, always available, 24/7 access to goods and services,†said Mark Johnson, senior vice president of Oracle’s public sector business.
He noted that the company aims to meet that need of state and local agencies through the Oracle Public Sector Community Development app.
The platform integrates with ArcGIS developer API from Esri and leverages analytics and business intelligence tools to streamline data visualization and offer insights to facilitate the decision-making process.
