Melissa Chapman, a former vice president of the civilian and homeland security solutions division at General Dynamics‘ information technology segment, has been appointed president of service-disabled veteran-owned company 9th Way Solutions.
9th Way said Monday Chapman will be responsible for health IT, enterprise services, cyber and information security, systems and program management and data analytics service areas in her new position.
She aims to expand the Fairfax,Va.-based company’s work across the federal market.
Chapman previously held leadership roles at Booz Allen Hamilton, Salient CRGT, Social & Scientific Systems, Agilex Technologies and Apptis.
She also served as chief information officer at the Department of Health and Human Services and the Food and Drug Administration.
