The U.S. Army has awarded SOS International a potential four-year, $5M contract to support security assistance efforts of the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad.
SOSi said Monday it will provide technical, human resources and accounting services to the embassy’s security cooperation office.
The contract supports U.S. security assistance programs focused on helping the Iraqi military to facilitate counterterrorism missions and address various threats.
Frank Helmick, senior vice president of SOSi’s mission solutions group, said the company has supported U.S. liberalization and stabilization initiatives in Iraq since 2003.
