The General Services Administration has launched a formal solicitation for a follow-on contract vehicle that will cover entity identification and validation services intended to secure contracting transactions across the federal government.
GSA said Friday it seeks a contractor to help customer agencies verify the identities of organizations that aim to receive assistance from or do business with the government.
Dun & Bradstreet is the incumbent on the current contract slated to expire later this year.
According to GSA, the procurement vehicle will allow individual agencies to procure validation services through the System for Award Management website instead of issuing separate contracts.
GSA will host a pre-proposal webinar on Sept. 10 and accept offers until Oct. 1.
