The U.S. Air Force is exploring potential industry sources of professional services to an Air Force Research Laboratory unit that supports the military branch’s space communications, positioning, navigation and timing mission area.
A FedBizOpps notice posted Monday says the AFRL’s battlespace environment division seeks contractor support on business strategy planning, scientific, technical and organizational development efforts.
USAF noted it looks to award a one-year firm-fixed-price contract with four option periods to procure the services.
The RVB division operates at Kirtland AFB in New Mexico and participates in SCPNT missions through the Strategic Atomic Navigation and Device Systems program.
The service branch will accept input from interested parties through Sept. 26.
