The Department of Homeland Security has issued an authorization to operate for a WidePoint-built technology platform designed to help government clients manage and secure telecommunications systems.
The ATO certifies that WidePoint’s ITMS offering comply with data security requirements under the Federal Information Security Management Act, the company said Monday.
ITMS employs a web-based interface built to facilitate configuration, ordering, tracking, auditing, database updating and reporting activities online.
WidePoint CEO Jin Kang said the company aims to continue to expand its Trusted Mobility Management portfolio in a push to help customers manage information security posture.
