Vicki Schmanske, deputy group president of Leidos‘ health group, has been recognized with an award from non-profit organization Women in Technology.
She was given the 2018 Leadership Award under the “Corporate, Large-Market Sector” category, Leidos said Monday.
Jon Scholl, group president of Leidos Health, said Schmanske’s work for the company includes the implementation of the Next Generation Identification System for the FBI and the management of the team that operates the Frederick National Lab for Cancer Research.
Schmanske supports the youth in science, technology, engineering and math as education vice president for the board of directors of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association’s Bethesda chapter.
She has served the American Heart Association’s annual Washington Heart Walk as corporate executive champion in the previous years.
Prior to joining Leidos, Schmanske was the operations vice president for the former information systems and global solutions civil business of Lockheed Martin.
