Iron Mountain has unveiled a data management platform that works to protect and recover critical information in the event of a cyber attack.
The company said Wednesday its Iron Cloud Critical Protection and Recovery offering works to help organizations mitigate damage related to business disruption caused by cyber incidents through isolation of critical digital information and separation of such data from networks.
“By disconnecting from a network and storing it in our secure data centers, organizations can be sure that their data is both protected and available if they should suffer a cyber attack, and the cleanroom features enable rapid forensics and expert recovery in a safe environment,†said Peter Allen, senior vice president and general manager of data management at Iron Mountain.
Iron Cloud CPR was developed using Virtustream‘s xStream Management Platform and is offered as a managed service for organizations that implement Dell EMC’s Cyber Recovery tool used to support ransomware attack recovery efforts.
