Paul Capasso, a 33-year U.S. Air Force veteran and vice president of strategic programs at Telos, has been selected for the Air Force Command, Control, Communications and Computers Association’s Cyberspace Operations and Support Hall of Fame.
The retired major general continued to support multiple efforts at USAF and the Defense Department after he retired from military in 2011, Telos said Tuesday.
Retired USAF Col. David Kovach said he nominated Capasso for the AFC4A’s Hall of Fame award in recognition of the latter’s strategic, tactical and educational contributions to the cyberspace force.
Capasso joined the service branch in 1978 as an airman and later held staff leadership roles within the Air Force Major Command, as well as led Air Force units at every level.
He served as director of cyberspace operations at the service branch prior to his retirement.
