BayFirst Solutions will offer information technology services to federal agencies through the small business track of a potential 10-year, $15 billion governmentwide acquisition contract vehicle.
The General Services Administration selected BayFirst as one of 81 companies that will compete for task orders under the Alliant 2 SB contract.
Kevin Gooch, BayFirst CEO, said in a statement released Wednesday the company seeks to help the federal government address challenges related to IT infrastructure, cybersecurity and big data management initiatives.
Alliant 2 SB is a follow-on to the original contract awarded in 2009 and slated to expire in April 2019.
BayFirst noted this marks the first time it joined a roster of IT companies on the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity vehicle.
