X Technologies has received a potential five-year, $38.3 million contract to help the Defense Information Systems Agency increase the security and technical capacity of the Defense Department‘s public key infrastructure.
The company will review system engineering documents for the DoD PKI and common service provider, as well as develop software to support the infrastructure, the department said Friday.
The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization received four proposals for the contract via a competitive solicitation on FedBizOpps.
DoD noted the contract has a $7.6 million initial value over a one-year base period of performance, followed by four one-year option periods.
San Antonio, Texas-based X Technologies offers engineering, information technology, information security, program support and repair services to the federal sector.
