Amazon Web Services has granted an AWS Partner Network Security Competency designation to Booz Allen Hamilton in recognition of the latter’s efforts to develop cloud-based products that work to help clients manage various information technology functions.
Booz Allen said Thursday the APN Security Competency status also represents the company’s capacity to offer specialized software platforms for customers to develop and implement security measures via AWS cloud.
Mickie Bolduc, a Booz Allen senior vice president, said the company’s team develops customized systems designed to aid clients’ efforts to meet security requirements while considering the current nature of cybersecurity.
The company has invested in development of cloud products and services such as the Virtual Cloud Defense system built to help users comply with security policies and defend networks against potential threats.
AWS’ Competency program aims to highlight APN partners that have shown technical proficiency and customer service in various areas such as infrastructure security, identity management, policy management, security monitoring, data protection and vulnerability management.
