Aitech Introduces Power Supply Unit Designed to Support Military Embedded Computing Systems - top government contractors - best government contracting eventAitech Defense Systems has unveiled a new power supply unit for CompactPCI, VME and VPX embedded computing systems, Military & Aerospace Electronics reported Tuesday.

The 500-Watt 3U VITA 62 power supply called P233 was designed to support military embedded computing systems as well as offer added system reliability and redundancy.

The MIL-STD-704-compliant P233 also caters to ENABLE#, FAIL#, INHIBIT# and SYSRESET# control signals which support system management functions prior to the main power application.

P233 also features an internal built-in test along with input line filters designed to mitigate potential power overvoltage, reverse polarity and surges, the report noted.

Aitech Defense Systems provides various products for aerospace, military and industrial applications as well as rugged enclosures and subsystem integration services.
