Raytheon has received a one-year, $28.7 million contract modification for logistics support services to the U.S. Army‘s Patriot missile defense system.
The company will help manage the service branch’s Patriot inventory as well as repair and replace 136 associated stock and parts, the Defense Department said Monday.
Work will take place in Andover, Massachusetts, through Dec. 31, 2018.
The Army obligated $28.8 million at the time of award from the service branch’s fiscal 2018 working capital funds.
Patriot is equipped with interceptor and radar technologies that work to help defend against ballistic missiles.
