Rolls-Royce has signed a partnership with Abu Dhabi Ship Building to provide shipbuilding, repair and refit services in support of the Gulf region.
Rolls-Royce said Monday partnership will cover fixed service rates for onsite service attendance;  turnkey repair projects; spare parts; and technical and commercial support for ADSB employees on Rolls-Royce waterjets.
Leo Pantazopoulos, a senior vice president for Asia and Middle East Marine at Rolls-Royce, stated that the partnership aims to establish a growth platform to support the companies’ customers in the Gulf region.
The contract builds on an existing connection between the companies involving new builds, retrofits and potential development of Equipment Health Monitoring and autonomous vessels.
